The visit of the castle :

  • The royal apartments are 100% accessible: the ground floor is on one level. The doors and spaces are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. The upper floor is accessible by lift. A member of our team will provide you with further information at reception.
  • The lower courtyard of the château is not accessible to wheelchair users (not served by the lift).
  • The exhibition on flora and fauna is not accessible to wheelchair users (not served by the lift).

Videos of the lower courtyard and exhibitions are available at reception on a tablet.

 

The lift is available on request only. Please ask at reception and a member of our team will explain how it works.

: Guide dogs are, of course, welcome inside the castle..

 

Park of the castle :

Le parc du château est peu accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite car celui-ci est particulièrement vallonné et aucun cheminement en dur n’est présent.

Car park

The car park is located approximately 100 metres from the château, with parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities. For people with reduced mobility, it is possible to drop off passengers right in front of the château (please call 05.56.25.48.16 in advance).

 

Reception and ticket office

The château reception is located in the main courtyard. A paved path has been laid out to provide wheelchair access to the château reception and to the royal apartments.

 

Toilets/ Restrooms

Two toilets (ladies and gents) are reserved for and accessible to persons with disabilities.
