Group visits

 

Whether you are an association (hiking club, vintage vehicle club, etc.), a travel agency, a coach operator, a large family, etc., we welcome groups of more than 15 people all year round, subject to reservation.

Here are two tour options for groups:

1) The Classic Tour of the Castle  

 

For groups of 15 or more, by reservation only.

In the morning or afternoon, your guide will welcome you in the castle's main courtyard.

The tour includes:

  • A guided tour of the royal apartments: a dozen rooms with furniture to explore (approximately 1 hour).
  • A self-guided tour of the lower courtyard of the château: troglodyte caves, medieval cellars, Merovingian sarcophagi (approx. 15 mins)
  • A self-guided tour of the magnificent exhibition on the flora and fauna of Cazeneuve, a film about the Ciron valley, the ramparts and the chapel (approx. 20 mins)

The castle grounds are also accessible at the end of the tour, weather permitting.

 

Group rate:

12€ per person (for groups of 15 or more)

Optional at the end of the tour (reservation required): Kir Royal or glass of Sauternes from €4.50 per person.

 

 

2) One of our Royal Days

 

For groups of 20 or more, booking required.

We offer a turnkey day trip to discover the Royal Castle of Cazeneuve and its region.

The programme for these exclusive days:

  • Morning: Visit to the Royal Château de Cazeneuve
  • Lunch: in a nearby restaurant or in the château
  • Afternoon: discovery:
  • Of the Cazeneuve park
  • Or of southern Gironde: with the Sauternes vineyards or the medieval town of Bazas.

From 42€ per person (all inclusive except transport).
